The Central Valley sun was already baking the pavement, promising a 105-degree day. My brother and I were driving to work, AC blasting – a two-person funeral procession in search of a paycheck. It was a Friday morning, and we were traveling to the same old daily grind. Neither of us was feeling it that day. “I want to turn this car around and go to the beach,” I said. “Yeah," he agreed. “Work sucks!” “100%," I muttered. “Fuck ‘em. Fuck ‘em all Friday!” And then we drove to work. (We’re not irresponsible.) That morning, the ritual was born – our weekly Friday morning greeting. Eventually it evolved into a four-letter battle cry: FEAF! It’s more than an acronym. It's a Friday state of mind. (But you still gotta go to work.)
